Sherri Bennett, Director
APRN, MSN, FNP-C

Sherri is a family nurse practitioner, board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and licensed to practice in the state of Missouri. Sherri began her career in nursing in 1995 and has been a family nurse practitioner since 2011. Sherri received her undergraduate degree from Rockhurst University. She earned a master’s degree in Liberal Arts Education at Baker University. She went on to get her Master of Science degree in nursing from University of Central Missouri. Due to Sherri’s previous experience, she brings expertise in Allergy/Asthma, Convenient Care, and Chronic Disease Management. In Sherri's role as the Director of Consiglio Wellness Center, you will find her providing care in the clinic and supporting the Wellness Program. Sherri loves spending time with her husband and children. She enjoys getting away to their cabin on the Lake of the Ozarks. Sherri is passionate about health and disease prevention. She enjoys exercising and sharing strategies to promote health

 

Katy Allinder, 

APRN, MSN, FNP-C

Katy is a family nurse practitioner, board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and licensed to practice in the state of Missouri. Katy began her career in nursing in 2008 as a pediatric nurse and has been a family nurse practitioner since 2015. Katy received her undergraduate degree from Graceland University and a master's degree in nursing administration from University of Mary. She later went on to earn her post masters certification in nursing from Graceland University. Her previous roles in primary care, pediatrics and urgent care are what drew her to her role at CWC. Katy loves spending time with her husband, 2 children and her Bernedoodle Birdie. She also loves traveling and attending concerts of any kind. She loves the nursing profession and all the roles that it plays in the health care community. 

 

Tiwana Allen, 

FNP-C

Tiwana is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in evidence based medicine providing care for very diverse populations including for-profit as well as nonprofit (Federally Qualified Health Centers) organizations. Well versed in not only health promotion and maintenance through diagnosis and management of acute and chronic illness as well as in depth understanding of healthcare billing, managing patient populations, developing clinic operational policies and procedures with an emphasis on clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction and increasing patient retention.

Mike Hagerty
Health Coach

Mike is a certified health and life coach. Mike, a former Blue Springs School District teacher and coach of 25 years, serves as the Health and Wellness Coordinator at the CWC. Mike's passion for health and wellness in addition to coaching has lead him to a full-time health coaching career. As the Health and Wellness coordinator, Mike's responsibilities with the CWC include health coaching and building health and wellness programming for the member districts of the CWC consortium.

Jenny Flax
Health & Wellness Coordinator

Jenny is a certified Exercise Physiologist with over 24 years of experience in the health and wellness space.  She began her career in 1997 as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor while earning her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and becoming a certified Exercise Physiologist.  Upon graduating college from the University of Central Missouri, Jenny spent 4 years overseas serving the United States Military and their families.  During her time serving military personnel and their families, she became a certified Navy Fitness Instructor and Master Trainer while also presenting as an Exercise Physiologist on a team of subject matter experts that developed the Navy’s Ship Shape Weight Management program.  As she returned to the United States, Jenny began a career with Corporate Fitness Works where she became a Certified Health and Wellness Coach and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.  She then joined the education sector as a worksite Wellbeing Coordinator, spending the next 5 years building an award- winning worksite wellness program for a local school district.  At this time, she also served on the Healthy KC workplace wellness team, started a collaborative group of wellness coordinators from the Kansas City region and served on the Jackson County Healthy Eating and Active Living board.  To date, Jenny works as a Health Engagement Administrator, for GEHA, writing results-based wellness strategies for agencies.   A current Greenwood resident, Jenny and her husband Matt have three children, Wyatt, Brodey and Macee.  With their dog, Dexter, they enjoy living an active, outdoor lifestyle as a family!
